Woodside Petroleum becomes Woodside Energy

Shareholders in the country’s biggest independent oil and gas company have to punch in a new share market ticker to find the stock.

Woodside Petroleum is now Woodside Energy after a vote at last week’s annual general meeting. The company’s ASX ticker code has subsequently changed to WDS from WPL.
