A 59-year-old Kukerin woman has been killed after she lost control of her van and struck a tree in Babakin.

The fatal crash occurred on Friday morning around 9.25am as the gold Kia Carnival van was travelling north along the Bruce Rock-Corrigin Road.

The woman was the sole occupant of the vehicle and died at the scene.

Major crash investigators would like to speak to anyone who saw the crash or may have seen the vehicle driving just prior to the crash.
