The fatal crash comes just two weeks after a 69-year-old female driver died after colliding with a truck along the same road.

The woman’s white Hyundai crashed into a white-and-red Kenworth prime mover in Neergabby on Friday, August 28.

She was travelling west and the 51-year-old male driver of the prime mover was travelling east when the two vehicles collided on Gingin Brook Road.

Emergency services arrived at the scene shortly afterwards, but the woman could not be saved.

Major Crash detectives are investigating the Muckenburra crash. Anyone with information should contact Crime Stoppers on 1800 333 000 or make a report online.
