Long weekend lotto luck has struck Kalgoorlie-Boulder with a local newsagent revealing it has sold a $1 million winning ticket.

Two division one prizewinning tickets were sold for Monday night’s lotto draw, one of which was purchased at Genovese’s Carbarn News and Deli on Boulder Road.

The deli took to Facebook this morning to congratulate the winner.

Division three had 21 winners in WA who will each collect $409.

There were no division two winners last night.

The Monday night win follows Saturday night’s draw which saw four WA players share in a division one prize each worth more than $511,000.

Those tickets were sold from Nextra Harrisdale, Eaton Fair Lottery Centre and News, with the remaining two tickets purchased through their Lotterywest membership online.

Lotterywest spokesperson Pina Compagnone said Saturday’s draw also created a flurry of division two winners.

“There were 27 Division Two tickets sold across WA in the draw, this included a range of syndicates which means more winners across the board,” she said.

“We would love to see our State’s winning run continue following tonight’s $5 million OZ Lotto draw.

“Tickets are available until 6pm from Lotterywest in-store, online or via the app.”

All available profits from Lotterywest tickets go towards the Lotterywest COVID-19 Relief Fund which support organisations and people experiencing hardship due to COVID-19.
