Taneika Martin grabbed best afield honours on the back of a superb hat-trick to lead CBC’s 11-0 rout of Pegasus at the weekend in the Eastern Goldfields Hockey Association’s A1 women’s division.

It was easy work for the Collegians, with Martin’s haul complemented by two goals each to Kim Luke, Brittney Sheed and Susan MacDonald as the side grabbed a 13th victory.

The rout was completed by Kate Lavery and Lauren Puckett.

After a seven-game winning sequence was broken up by Norths in round 11, CBC have hit back to win their past six matches.
