Lucky Victorian player scoops entire $80 million Powerball lotto jackpot

One lucky Australian has scooped tonight’s entire $80 million Powerball jackpot, two days after the $50 million Oz Lotto draw was also claimed by a single ticket.

The winning Powerball numbers are 33, 2, 32, 31, 28, 21, 26 and the Powerball was 12, with the winning ticket sold in Victoria.

A lucky West Australian was among seven people who picked up just shy of $205,000 for division two.

The division one prize had rocketed to the massive $80 million after going unclaimed for five weeks.

It comes after a winner from the NSW south coast took out Tuesday’s $50 million draw.

“This Powerball jackpot run has raised an estimated $11 million for Lotterywest’s COVID-19 Relief Fund,” Lotterywest spokesperson James Mooney said.

“The money from Lotterywest ticket sales goes back into the community through prizes and grants, and support for our health, arts and sports sectors.

“Even though the State didn’t claim a Division One prize tonight, around 705,000 WA players have shared in almost $13 million in prizes from the last six weeks.”
