A Perth Lotto player is $1 million richer after taking out the division one prize in Wednesday Lotto.

Astoundingly, it was WA’s ninth winner in the first five weeks of the year.

Another two division one winners from Victoria and New South Wales shared in last night’s win, each ticket worth $1 million.

WA’s winning ticket, which remains unclaimed, was sold at NewsXpress Centrepoint in Midland.

Owner of the store, Paul Kirwan, said he hopes that the winner is one of his loyal regular customers.

“We’ve so many great customers and I’m really excited that we’ve played a part in making one of their dreams come true,” he said.

“This is such a great start for us in 2022.”

More than 13,000 Western Australians shared in prize money across the other divisions.

All attention now turns to tonight’s $40 million Powerball jackpot.

Tickets for the draw are available until 6pm tonight via Lotterywest in-store, online or via the app.
