Bunbury-born actor Harrison Green has landed his first feature film role in the upcoming Darkest Age.

Bunbury-born actor Harrison Green has been cast to make his feature film debut in Darkest Age.

The 22-year-old has studied and acted around the world, in short films around Australia as well as performing Shakespeare in the United States.

His work in a supporting role on the short film version of Darkest Age won him a number of international awards, including Best Supporting Actor at the LA Film Awards, New York Film Awards and Indie Fest.

The movie was filmed in Perth and is based on the short film of the same name, which follows teenage meth lord Sam as he becomes obsessed with preserving the picture perfect world of one of his classmates.

Green has landed the lead role in Darkest Age and said the story felt authentic to youth in Australia.

Teenage director Isabella Jacqueline, 19, has received international acclaim for her short films over the past two years but Darkest Age will also be her feature film debut.

“Harrison is an actor where it’s not a question of if he’ll make it, but when he’ll make it,” she said.

“I could not be more honoured to be one of the stepping stones in building what will be a bright future for him.”
