Two 32-year-old motorists have had their lives cut tragically short in two separate crashes in the South West in the space of six hours.

Major Crash investigators have begun an investigation into a crash that occurred in Queenwood on Tuesday and are calling on any witnesses to report information.

Police say a bronze Toyota Landcruiser was travelling in a westerly direction on Donnybrook-Boyup Brook Road when it collided with a large fallen tree.

The driver died at the scene.

It occurred just hours after another 32-year-old motorist died at the scene of a crash in Boalia earlier that afternoon.
