A pedestrian incident closed a lane on Cecil Avenue southbound, with emergency services on the scene as commuters begin to head home for the afternoon.
The incident was reported at 3.38pm and is located at Albany Highway in Cannington.
The right turning lanes were blocked by the incident, and ambulance and police were reported on site.
A teenage girl was taken to Royal Perth Hospital with a minor leg injury, according to St John Ambulance.
A breakdown on Thomas Street eastbound in Leederville also caused chaos as peak hour hits the city.

The breakdown was located at Railway Parade and was reported by Main Roads at 3.57pm.
The left lane was blocked by the breakdown.
Another breakdown on Wanneroo Road southbound has also been reported, at Reid Highway in Balga.
The left lane was blocked and traffic is slow leading up to the site.
Both breakdowns have been cleared.
A crash on Tonkin Highway northbound was also reported, after Leach Highway in Cloverdale.
Reported by Main Roads at 3.46pm, the crash closed the Highway’s right lane.
The crash has since been cleared, but traffic remains slow on approach.
