A woman in her 30s is fighting for life after she was struck by a car in Perth’s east on Tuesday night.

It’s understood the woman hit near the Morrison Road and Wellaton Street intersection in Midvale about 6.15pm.

The force of the impact was enough to smash the car’s windscreen.

St John Ambulance took her to Royal Perth Hospital at 7.50pm on priority, where she remains in a “critical condition” in the Emergency Department.

Police are questioning a man about the crash.

Investigators would like to speak to anyone who witnessed the crash or has dash camera footage from the area around the time.
