Three people have been rushed to hospitals after a five car pileup in Heathridge this evening.

Police said a blue Toyota Hilux was travelling along Burns Beach Road about 6pm in “an unusual manner” before bumping into another car.

The driver continued onto Marmion Avenue before ploughing into four cars—all travelling southbound—near the intersection of Windlass Avenue.

The male Hilux driver was taken to Royal Perth Hospital and is assisting police with their enquiries.

A woman was also rushed to RPH under priory one conditions and another person was taken to a Joondalup hospital after being injured in the crash.
