VideoNed Guy was the man in the hot seat after Collingwood's tough trade period. And it didn't end well.

Angry Collingwood fans have lashed out at “delusional” Pies list manager Ned Guy following his trainwreck live interview on Fox Footy.

Shortly after arguably one of the most disastrous trade periods in Collingwood’s history, Guy went on national television to try an explain how the Pies coughed up stars Adam Treloar and Jaidyn Stephenson and a raft a draft picks in return for picks 14 and 16.

And it didn’t end well.

“One of the most disgraceful interviews I've ever heard. Should hand his resignation in the second he gets off air,” one fan said.

“That Ned Guy interview was a hot mess, inside a dumpster fire, inside a train wreck,” one fan complained.

“I’ve never heard so much jibberish in all my life,” another added.

“What a car crash that was,” another lamented.

“CUT THE FEED!!! The lies are painful,” another fan said.

Guy tried his best to refute claims Treloar was forced out for salary cap reasons, but struggled to find an answer other than he couldn’t talk about salaries.

“This was painful to watch,” one fan lamented.

“The was the stupidest interview I’ve ever heard. My lord how is this bloke in charge,” another said.

“I’m angrier after watching that,” one fan said.

“This is the worst interview ever conducted. Seriously this is terrible,” another pointed out.

“If you reckon Trump has had a bad week imagine what Eddie’s next 3 days are going to be like,” another joked.

Some fans said they would not renew their memberships after the club failed to secure better than pick 14 for Treloar, who now heads to the Western Bulldogs.

“This interview and the blatant lying/failure to admit the truth was a slap in the face and straight up insulting to every supporter and paying member of the club,” one angry fan posted.

The interview capped off a horror 24 hours for the Pies who seemingly folded on the final day of the 2020 trade period.

Tom Phillips heads to Hawthorn for pick 65, while Atu Bosenavulagi joined Stephenson in a package deal to get to North Melbourne.

But the picks Collingwood got in return for the duo were sent to the Dogs as part of the Treloar deal, leaving fans scratching their heads.

To make matters worse, the Pies will still be footing part of Treloar’s new five-year deal at the Dogs - reportedly to the tune of $300,000 per season.
