Australia's Min Woo Lee has finished with a share of second place at Spain's Andalucia Masters after England's Matt Fitzpatrick claimed his seventh European Tour golf title.

Fitzpatrick shot an error-free two under round of 69 on the final day to finish at six under overall, three strokes clear of Lee and a fading Sebastian Soderberg of Sweden.

Fitzpatrick took advantage of a late collapse by Soderberg who had a double bogey and a bogey on his final two holes and finished with a one under round of 70 along with Lee on Sunday.

Overnight leader Laurie Canter of England struggled with a five over 76 that left him in a group of seven players tied for fourth place on two under overall.

Down by three shots at the start of the day, Fitzpatrick made 15 consecutive pars followed by birdies on the 16th and 17th to rise up the leaderboard at the iconic Real Club Valderrama course that hosted the 1997 Ryder Cup.

Only 14 players finished under par on the tough course.

"It's on the bucket list to win a round at Valderrama with the history that it has," Fitzpatrick said.

"To do it bogey-free on Sunday as well is extra special. I'm delighted.

"It's a true test and to be patient the whole 72 holes. I'm really pleased with the way my attitude was all week."

The 27-year-old Fitzpatrick became the fourth youngest Englishman to reach seven European Tour victories, behind Peter Oosterhuis, Lee Westwood and Nick Faldo.

Of the other Aussies in action, Jason Scrivener finished in a tie for 58th at 10 over while Scott Hend missed the cut along with top-ranked Jon Rahm of Spain, finishing in a share of 99th place.

The Spain swing ends next week with the Mallorca Open.
