A growing trend of successful local eight ball duos made up of father-son combinations was extended last weekend when Jason and Jasely-Jean Dimer took out the annual Scotch Doubles.

They grabbed the title after beating Grant Weekley and Brendon Hutchings in a classic final, 4-3.

The Dimers followed in the footsteps of Bill and Brody Conroy, who a fortnight earlier were victorious in the Celebrity Doubles .

Making up the top four last weekend were Jake Persello and Brad Smith and last year’s champions Rombert Rico and Brody Conroy.

Meanwhile in domestic competition, top sides Workers’ Club Young Guns and Grand Trolley Boys continued their winning form.
