Australian swimming stars Cate Campbell, Kyle Chalmers and Ariane Titmus have completed confidence-building meets at the national championships on the Gold Coast.

In the penultimate hit-out before June's Olympic trials in Adelaide, the big three of Australia's individual Olympic medal hopes came away with solid swims under the belt.

Campbell, who finished second to Emma McKeon in the 100m freestyle on Friday, bounced back to pip McKeon and sister Bronte Campbell in Sunday's 50m freestyle.

The 28-year-old matched her heat time of 24.28 seconds to touch just ahead of McKeon (24.39).

"I'm actually quite surprised with the good swims that I've managed to pump out this week," Campbell said.

"It's been an interesting 12 months for everyone ... and I'm happy with how my body has held up.

"Looking forward to seeing what a couple more weeks of training can do before we race again."

Chalmers added the 50m crown to his 100m and 200m titles, clocking a 22.30 to complete a solid outing as he continues his return from shoulder surgery last year.

"I'm just working my way back, it's only four months really I've been back in the water," the 100m Olympic champion said.

"It's not all that long so as I race more we'll be able to start doing that sort of stuff in training."

Titmus gave the shoulder she injured three months ago a terrific workout, adding the 800m title to the 200m and 400m wins she picked up earlier in the week.

"The past month I've got good confidence from training but racing's a different thing," the 400m world champion told AAP.

"I haven't raced like this in almost two years so it's going to be really good for me going into training knowing where I'm at racing-wise. That's a good thing."

In Sunday's other races, pop star Cody Simpson finished ninth in the men's 50m butterfly with Shaun Champion winning the race in 24.24.

Queensland's Nick Sloman wrapped up the meet, setting a personal best of 15:02.19 to win the 1500m title.

The final competition for Olympic hopefuls before the Games trials in June will be the Sydney Open from May 13 to 16.
