VideoAFLW: West Coast's mascot Auzzie the Eagle decided to make Optus Stadium its own before the AFLW Derby on Sunday afternoon, flying around the stadium before eventually being captured.

Nic Naitanui is used to making the ball ‘talk’ in dominant ruck displays, but he’ll be doing talking of a different kind during non-Eagles games this season.

The West Coast big man will step into the commentary box on a guest basis in 2021 to join Seven’s game-day coverage, with fellow multiple All-Australian Joel Selwood doing likewise.

The star pair are the big-name additions to the network’s on-screen line-up this year, which faces the considerable loss of broadcasting giant Bruce McAvaney.

Naitanui has done guest commentary stints for Seven before, including ahead of the 2019 season opener, but will step up his efforts this year on the back of a superb All-Australian campaign.
