Hollywood actor Chad Lowe’s daughter, Fiona, has died aged 13.

The Pretty Little Liars and Melrose Place star and his wife, producer Kim Painter, shared the heartbreaking news of their daughter’s death.

“We are deeply heartbroken by the loss of our beloved Fiona. She was a loving young girl who was smart, creative and loved to dance,” the couple said in a statement to Page Six on Tuesday.

“She was adored by her sisters and she was deeply loved by her parents. In fact, she was the light of our lives.

“Her passing is devastating for our entire family and we ask for prayers and privacy at this time.”

The family also encouraged anyone struggling with their mental health to seek support.

Fiona was the second of three daughters for Lowe, 58, and Painter, 52.

Their eldest daughter Mabel is 17 while youngest daughter Nixie is 10.

Lowe publically celebrated Fiona’s 13th birthday in November last year, sharing a touching tribute.

“Celebrating Fiona officially becoming a teen today! Keep dancing through life FiBear! Love you soooo much!” he wrote alongside a photo of his young daughter.

It has been a difficult few years for the family who lost their Pacific Palisades home during the devastating Los Angeles wildfires of January 2025.

In photographs shared at the time, Lowe showed his daughters, with face coverings, returning to the remains of their childhood home.

“Almost a month after we evacuated our girls finally got to go back to see what’s left of their home,” he wrote.

“The way they’ve handled this whole devastating experience is nothing short of remarkable. I am in awe of their spirit and resilience.

“Helping them navigate these tough times is my sole purpose. Being their dad is my life’s greatest joy and privilege.”

Lowe, who is the younger brother of actor Rob Lowe, married Painter in 2010. The couple celebrated their 16th wedding anniversary last month.

No official cause of death has been confirmed at this time.
