No one is dead…yet.

I should be happy that none of the characters died a horrible death this evening but this show has really tapped into my heartless side and after all the hype, it’s just a mild case of poisoning.

Things pick up from last night’s episode and Irene doesn’t waste any time telling her good friend John that Susie is out of line.

“I’m telling you John you need to put that girl on a leash,” Irene says to John.

Susie quickly tells her version of events which is a stark contradiction to Irene’s and convinces John that Irene is in love with him and is jealous of their blossoming relationship.

“That’s absurd,” John says. And I agree.

John wants to sort it out and invites Irene to dine with himself and Susie.

“I just want my two favourite women to get along,” John says.

Irene scoffs at the idea but then Willow – who overheard the conversation between John and Susie – fills Irene in and she promptly changes her mind.

Dinner approaches and Susie wastes no time secretly putting an unknown substance into Irene’s drink.

Susie carries the drinks over to their table, but unbeknown to her, Irene is an alcoholic and refuses the drink. But it doesn’t go to waste because John happily gulps down the spiked drink himself.

They toast to new beginnings.

I’m eagerly waiting for green froth to bubble of out John’s mouth or for him to suddenly lose conscious and slump into his chicken parmie, but he just excuses himself and presumably goes to the bathroom.

Susie manages to come out unscathed, plays the hero and takes John home.

The next morning Irene suggests calling the doctor but Susie threatens her again which only makes Irene more suspicious of Susie’s ways.

“How can someone get so sick so quickly?” Irene questions.

“Why don’t you accept that fact that he doesn’t need you anymore and go stick your nose is someone else’s business?” Susie replies.

Back at the van Kieran – who may or may not be real, although the evidence for him being real is mounting – is trying to lure Martha back into the van she just discovered him hiding out in.

“Get in the van, get back in the van,” Kieran says aggressively.

Martha says “you’re not real” over and over with a pained expression while convincing herself that it’s all in her head.

Meanwhile Roo and Alf ponder if they should have left someone in such a state alone, when Martha runs over to them.

“Alf I saw him he’s in the van,” Martha yells out.

Alf slowly enters the van and “it’s empty”.

But alas Kieran is real and is hiding in some nearby bushes.

He’s real.

Alf and Roo don’t know that Kieran is real and even though they think Martha is very delusional, he maintains that he doesn’t want to take Martha back to hospital.

Roo and Alf pat themselves on the back for being so good at looking after Martha and while they are out Kieran breaks into a van to steal a few beers.

Lastly, Bella and I’ll keep it brief because her feelings of betray and adjusting to life without her brother has been going on for quite some time.

Basically Ziggy hatches a plan to get Willow and Bella on speaking terms again but it becomes pretty clear that Bella isn’t ready to forgive Willow.

Sadly, it’s too late because Willow turns up with pizzas in hand.

“Did you set me up?” Bella says realising that she has been played by Ziggy all day even though Ziggy didn’t mean any harm.

They all leave of sour terms.
