Chris Isaak has jetted out of Perth after his whirlwind visit on his Australian tour, greeting fans before his flight.

Less than 24 hours after playing to thousands of Perth fans at Kings Park, The Wicked Game crooner was snapped at Perth Airport on Friday.

Dragging his own suitcase, Isaak cut a casual figure, wearing blue trainers with a blazer and white t-shirt. But his trademark quiff gave him away to a handful of fans.

The eagle-eyed fans managed to steal a brief chat with the 67-year-old Californian before he headed for the departure gate.

“Thanks Chris, love your music,” a fan was heard saying as he left with his entourage.

Isaak offered a “thank you” and a smile before leaving.

Isaak will play at Geelong on Saturday before heading to the Barossa Valley on Sunday.

Speaking to The West Australian this week, Isaak said he had a soft spot for his Australian fans.

“People in Australia remind me most of where I grew up in California. That kind of laid back (lifestyle) and I haven’t given it some thought, but I think when you’re living in a place that’s got sunshine it makes people happy,” he said.

Isaak last visited Australia in 2016 and his brief visit to Perth was due to late additions to his schedule.

His Australian tour will finish in Queensland on April 20 before he heads to New Zealand for shows in Wellington and Auckland.
