Global superstar Khalid is set to bring a headline tour to Perth for the first time after he last performed here at a festival in 2018.

The 28-year-old American singer is back Down Under in November, kicking off his It’s Always Summer Somewhere tour in Brisbane on November 11 before heading to Sydney, Melbourne and wrapping up in Perth on November 18 at RAC Arena.

The last time Khalid was in Perth was when he performed at New Year’s Eve festival Origin in 2018 alongside Cardi B, M.I.A and Tash Sultana.

Fans are set to be treated to classic hits such as Young Dumb and Broke, Lovely, 8Teen, Location and Love Lies with his most recent collaboration with Kygo and Griffyn, Save My Love, sure to get crowds dancing.

He will be supported by LA-based multi-platinum certified pop visionary Lauv — who has a song with Troye Sivan — at all shows.

The tour marks Khalid’s first arena shows in Australia since his Free Spirit tour in 2019 and returned for two shows at the Sydney Opera House in 2024, where he delivered the world-exclusive premiere of his album Sincere.

The Texan has taken the world by storm since his first single Location — released right before his high school graduation — exploded onto the scene, leading to a major label deal with Right Hand Music Group/RCA Records.

He then released his debut album American Teen, followed by his critically acclaimed 2019 album Free Spirit, which features the Grammy-nominated song Talk.

Many fans also know him for his collaborations with some of music’s biggest stars, including Love Lies with Normani, Eastside with Halsey and Benny Blanco, as well as Alicia Keys, Billie Eilish and Ed Sheeran.

In 2023, Khalid was featured on the official soundtrack for Greta Gerwig’s Barbie movie with Silver Platter and joined Sheeran in cities across North America on his The Mathematics Tour.

Last year, he released his most recent album, After The Sun Goes Down, which critics say marks a refreshing and joyous era of his artistry.

No stranger to receiving awards for his talent, Khalid was presented with the Disruptor award from Billboard at the 2025 Live Billboard Music Summit in November.

He was awarded it for his impact on the music industry after a decade.
