It was rumoured earlier in the week that the Queen of Australian pop music Kylie Minogue was going to relocate back to Australia and today it was confirmed the rumour is 100 per cent true.

After more than three decades of living in the United Kingdom, Minogue will once again call Australia home.

“It is true, I will be basing myself in Australia,” she told BBC Radio 2.

“I spent a lot of time with my family this year in Australia and it felt really good... I've been talking about that for a while.”

Minogue said a lot of her friends have already been calling her.

It’s not yet confirmed where in Australia she’ll reside but many believe she will head to Melbourne where the rest of her family live.

The news comes ahead of the re-release of her 2020 album Disco.

DISCO: Guest List edition will inclide special collaborations with some of the pop industry’s biggest names such as Dua Lipa, Years & Years, Jessie Ware, and Gloria Gaynor.

Overnight, she released one of the upcoming collaborations with a fun music video to go with it.

Minogue has teamed up with Years & Years for their dance song, A Second to Midnight.

The pair perform a series dance moves in the video where Minogue also rocks a pair of tiny black satin shorts.

The video was directed by long-time Minogue collaborator Sophie Muller and filmed at London's historic Collins' Music Hall.
