Larry’s Charcoal Chicken
From Sesh Mafia, the team behind Subiaco’s Shui and underground CBD join Papi Katsu, comes this new charcoal chicken joint. In addition to its signature chook there will be plenty of delicious accompaniments including flavour-packed salads, house-made dips and crispy spiced lamb. Extra care has been poured into the cocktail menu too, with ingredients including cardamom, rose water and preserved lemon making their way into drops. Tsu Lange Yor x Gentle Habits
The name of this new collab between Troye Sivan’s fragrance brand Tsu Lange Yor and self-care business Gentle Habits is one many West Australians know well. Called Yallingup, the incense and its holder were inspired by both Sivan’s and Gentle Habits founder Sophie Marshall’s childhood summers on the stretch of coast in the South West. The scent is described as warm and smoky, capturing the stillness of the afternoon between sun and sea. The products are available on tsulangeyor.au and mecca.com.

Circularity
This latest exhibition from Perth interdisciplinary artist Caroline Christie-Coxon brings together three decades of practice and skill to explore how we understand material, landscape, each other and the systems around us. Across the paintings, Christie-Coxon uses techniques of evaporation, pressure, drying and time to encourage the surfaces to shift, rupture and fracture. It will be available to view at Kamile Gallery from October 29 to December 5.
