Thousands of revellers flocked to Albany’s Anzac Peace Park to ring in 2026, the city’s bicentenary year.

Families enjoyed live entertainment and food vans as they watched the sunset on the last day of 2025.

The band Flood the Moon were among the favourite acts of the night, getting children and families out on to the dance floor.

The 9pm fireworks were a hit with children, who were in awe of the loud, spectacular display that covered the night sky.

Many people hung around for the later live entertainment and the midnight fireworks to rung in the new year.
