Male bike rider taken to hospital after collision with van near Albany’s Australian Christian College campus

A motorcyclist was taken to Albany Health Campus after colliding with a van on Brewster Road, opposite the Australian Christian College - Southlands on Thursday afternoon. A St John WA spokesperson said one crew attended at 1.06pm and it took a man in his 30s to hospital with minor injuries. Albany Fire and Rescue also attended in the incident in Collingwood Heights. A DFES spokesperson said there had been a significant fuel spillage and the crew were needed to make the area safe. They cleared the danger and left the scene at 2pm, according to DFES. Police also attended to investigate the cause of the crash.
