VideoAnzac Day 2025 falls on a Saturday, creating a public holiday divide across Australian states.

Australians and New Zealanders will gather before dawn on Saturday, April 25, to mark 111 years since the Gallipoli landings, with services taking place across the country.

From major city cenotaphs to local memorials, thousands are expected to rise early to honour those who served, with traditional ceremonies including the Last Post, wreath-laying and a minute’s silence.

For those unable to attend in person, viewers can commemorate from home, with Sunrise broadcasting live from Sydney’s North Bondi RSL in a special dawn service event.

Coverage begins from 4.20am AEST, with Natalie Barr and Matt Shirvington hosting live, alongside Mark Beretta, marking the first time the iconic North Bondi service will be televised nationwide.

Dawn services go ahead in all weather conditions, with attendees encouraged to arrive early and prepare to stand for the duration.
