Budget-priced activities for kids
Believe it or not, there are free and inexpensive activities for children to do in the school holidays.
WA Museum Geraldton is holding a range of fun, creative and challenging activities and workshops to help children explore what happens when light is reflected, refracted and blocked.
There will be activities for a small fee, which can be booked on various days from Friday to July 16.

Sun City Christian Centre has invited families to its new premises at 14 Assen Street, Rangeway.
The church operates a Christian games and learning program for children between the ages of one and 12 years on Sundays while its church service is taking place.
Parents should register their child on the day, at 9.30am.
A youth group for high school children will be held at the same venue on Friday nights, starting with registrations at 6.30pm.
The program runs every Friday, from 7pm to 9pm, and includes high-energy activities with an emphasis on Christian values.
PCYC Geraldton is taking bookings for children aged six to 13 for circus and sports activities and an excursion to Dongara this week.
There will also be a teddy bears’ picnic for children aged one to five years. Bookings: 9921 1317.
