VideoFormer NSW police officer Beau Lamarre-Condon is on trial for the murders of TV presenter Jesse Baird and his partner Luke Davies at a Paddington terrace.

WARNING: Distressing.

A bone fragment, bloodied quilt and AFL flags were among the items Beau Lamarre-Condon allegedly dumped in a skip bin days after killing a Sydney couple.

Mr Lamarre-Condon dressed up as an Uber Eats delivery rider before allegedly murdering Jesse Baird and his new boyfriend, Luke Davies, at Mr Baird’s Paddington home in Sydney on February 19, 2024.

The former police officer has pleaded not guilty and is arguing self-defence in a jury trial before the NSW Supreme Court.

The jury was previously told Mr Lamarre-Condon had mentioned needing to find a skip bin during a sushi train dinner in Cronulla with his friend Ethan Lynch the evening after the couple’s deaths.

It is alleged he dumped the couple’s belongings at a skip bin at Club Cronulla later that night.

The jury was shown more than 100 graphic photos of bloodied items found in the skip bin, including a bone fragment from Mr Davies and a quilt covered in blood.

The images include bloodied shoe prints found on the quilt, which the jury was told were consistent with shoes found near the Greek monastery where Mr Lamarre-Condon allegedly dumped the couple’s bodies.

Blood-stained AFL flags and AFL merchandise were also pictured, with the jury previously told Mr Baird was an AFL goal umpire.

Mr Davies’ DNA sample was found in the blood on the flags.

A framed photograph of Mr Baird was also found in the bin.

The venue’s greenkeeper, Craig Scott, recounted how he found a series of items in the bin on the morning of February 21, 2024, in a statement to police previously read to the jury.

The items included a piece of clothing with “red stains”.

“It looked like dried blood to me … I left it in the bag and said ‘I think it’s blood, I’m not touching (it)’,” Mr Scott’s statement read.

His colleague agreed with him after removing a white bed sheet with red stains on it from the bin, and the pair alerted authorities as they thought “something suspicious had gone on”, according to Mr Scott’s statement.

The skip bin was later declared a crime scene.

The trial will continue on Thursday.
