Chun Hung Wong: Former Geraldton masseur’s trial adjourned for six months in latest delay

A former Geraldton massage therapist accused of indecently assaulting several of his clients has had his trial delayed by another six months. Chun Hung Wong, 37, was originally charged over alleged indecent incidents against female clients across a seven-year period from 2014 to 2021 in August 2021 at the now-closed Brilliant Massage clinic on Marine Terrace.. His case was delayed several times as more accusers came forward, resulting in Mr Wong facing 10 charges of unlawful and indecent assault. He has pleaded not guilty to the charges. His trial started in March last year and was part-heard. The case against Mr Wong, also known as Clayton, was then moved to Joondalup court and scheduled to resume on Monday. However, the trial has been adjourned once again with the matter set to resume on July 24, which will make it nearly two years since Mr Wong was charged. Mr Wong remains on bail and is prohibited from engaging in professional remedial or massage practices.
