Geraldton ‘COVID’ spitter Khia Nicole Cameron pleads guilty to cop assault, lying about having coronavirus

A 29-year-old woman has admitted she lied about having COVID-19 after spitting in a police officer’s face in Geraldton. Khia Nicole Cameron, pleaded guilty in Geraldton Magistrate’s Court last Thursday to assaulting a public officer and creating a false belief. At the time of the April 29 incident she was serving a suspended sentence for offences including cannabis possession and disorderly behaviour. Bail was refused at an earlier appearance. The offences were committed to the District Court, where Cameron will appear on July 31. Magistrate Chris Miocevich ordered psychiatric and psychological reports.
