The father of the NSW police officer accused of murdering Jesse Baird and Luke Davies has broken his silence.

Murder accused Beau Lamarre-Condon’s father Raymond Condon had a strained relationship with the celebrity chaser, reports the Daily Mail.

Mr Condon, who works as a security guard in the northern rivers region of NSW, split with Beau’s mother Coleen Lamarre when his son was in primary school.

Mr Condon was asked whether he’d made contact with the 28-year-old since his arrest on February 19.

“I haven’t spoken to Beau yet, no,” he told the publication.

The senior constable with a specialist command at NSW Police was charged with two counts of murder hours after turning himself into authorities after the couple mysteriously vanished.

The bodies of Mr Baird, 26, and Mr Davies, 29, were later found inside surfboard bags at the fence line of a rural property about 200km southwest of Sydney.
