A dramatic arrest has taken place at Crown Casino after police with long-arm firearms investigated a report that a gun had been pointed from a car at another driver in Burswood.

Bodycam footage shows a man being chased down by police on the gaming floor, forced to the ground, and cuffed.

No gun was found, but police did recover a novelty cigarette lighter shaped like a pistol, which was discovered in the casino food court toilets.

A 31-year-old man from Thornlie has been charged with being armed in a way that could cause fear and carrying a weapon in or near a place of public entertainment.
