Firefighters in Perth’s northern suburbs were kept busy on Friday morning as they fought to battle a blaze that engulfed a car.

Emergency services were called to the scene just after 4.30am on Friday after witnesses reported a car fire at the Kingsway Sporting Complex car park in Madeley.

Career Fire and Rescue Service firefighters arrived to the Goal Way scene to find the vehicle engulfed in flames.

Firefighters worked quickly to bring the blaze under control, extinguishing the car by 5am.

WA police told The West Australian that no individuals were located in the vehicle/

The Department of Fire and Emergency Services told The West Australian that fire crews left the scene with WA police.

WA police is urging anyone with information to come forward.
