Former Bachelor star Sam Wood and his wife, Snezana, have released their first statement since the celebrity fitness entrepreneur was arrested and charged over alleged domestic violence offences in Noosa.
The couple shared an idential statement on their social media accounts on Monday morning, addressing the situation on behalf of the family.
“This is a difficult time for all of us, we are working through this as a family and are thoroughly co-operating with the authorities,” a statement posted to their Instagram Story’s read.
It is understood Wood, Snezana and their daughters were staying at The Sebel on Hastings Street when police were called to the property about 9pm Saturday following a report of alleged domestic violence.

Sign upQueensland Police said a 46-year-old Victorian man was charged with two domestic violence related offences.
“Officers attended a Hastings Street, Noosa address around 9pm Saturday after receiving reports of alleged domestic violence,” a police spokesman said.
“Police have charged a 46-year-old Victorian man with domestic violence offences early this morning, 4 October.
“The man has been charged with assault occasioning bodily harm (domestic violence) and strangulation in a domestic setting.”
Wood was refused bail and is due to appear in Maroochydore Magistrates Court on Monday.
