Woman, 47, charged with unlawful wounding after stabbing incident in Thornlie that put man in hospital

A 47-year-old woman has been charged following a violent incident in Thornlie that left a man with multiple stab wounds. About 10pm on Sunday, Armadale detectives responded to a disturbance at a home on Carakine Grove involving two people known to each other. Police and ambulance officers arrived to find a 47-year-old man with several stab wounds. He was taken to Royal Perth Hospital for treatment of non-life-threatening injuries. The woman has been charged with one count of unlawful wounding with a circumstance of aggravation. Her bail was refused and she is set to appear before the Armadale Magistrates Court on Monday.
