A 67-year-old male motorcycle rider died 22 days after colliding with a Hyundai SUV on Joondalup Drive.

A motorcycle rider has died 22 days after a crash with a car in Perth’s northern suburbs. The 67-year-old man was left seriously injured after colliding with a Hyundai SUV travelling in the same direction as him on Joondalup Drive near Wanneroo Road on May 28. Police were called to the scene at about 8.16am and the man was conveyed to Royal Perth Hospital for treatment of his injuries. On June 19 the motorcycle driver died as a result of injuries from the crash. It is unknown if the driver of the SUV was injured.
