There was a strong turnout at Opal Geraldton recently when people gathered to celebrate the opening of the nursing home’s $11.4 million extension.

A further 40 beds have been added to the building to support Geraldton’s ageing population.

Guests at the function on June 28 included three former employees of the aged-care facility who have now become residents at the nursing home.

Opal Geraldton now has 90 beds.
