14yo boy pleads guilty to stealing cash from Mitchell and Brown Retravision in burglary with co-accused

A teenage boy has pleaded guilty to breaking into Mitchell and Brown Retravision with a female co-accused yet to be charged, damaging a CCTV camera and stealing change from a charity donation box and till. Police allege about 12am on Tuesday, June 6 a 14-year-old boy and a female suspect broke into Mitchell and Brown Retravision on Chapman Road by using a large rock to smash an aluminium door panel. The 14-year-old boy knocked a security camera off the roof, damaging it, before entering the complex through the front door with his co-accused. Acting officer-in-charge Sen. Sgt Andrew Ramsden alleged the pair made their way to the front counter and took loose change from a charity box and more money from the till. A 14-year-old boy from Spalding pleaded guilty to aggravated burglary, stealing and criminal damage and was referred to the juvenile justice team. Police are yet to speak with the female suspect who they say will face similar charges.
