Against the grain
Police have taken a dim view of a motorist’s attempt to transport long lengths of timber in a passenger car.
Geraldton police tweeted about the incident today after the driver was caught with 600mm of timber hanging out of the rear passenger window.
“If it doesn’t fit safely, it shouldn’t be in your car,” police tweeted.
“Please use some common sense out there folks. $100 fine issued with some guidance.”
