Aldi Wonthella ‘to open late 2018’

Construction of the Aldi Supermarket in Wonthella is expected to start in a month, according to City of Greater Geraldton mayor Shane Van Styn.

Mr Van Styn said Geraldton company Crothers Construction had been awarded the tender to build the store.

Meanwhile, Aldi Australia today told The Geraldton Guardian the store was expected to open later this year.

An Aldi Australia spokesperson said they were looking forward to setting up shop in Geraldton.

“We look forward to bringing our unique shopping experience to local residents, and will update the community as our plans progress,” the spokesperson said.
