Allendale principal wins State award

Allendale Primary School principal Lisa Criddle has won WA Primary Principal of the Year at the 10th annual WA Education Awards.

A second Allendale Primary School staff member, Katisha Barrett, also attended the awards night and was a finalist for WA Beginning Teacher of the Year.

The 2017 WA Education Awards received the highest number of nominations in its history with 285 education staff across the State considered for awards.

The awards ceremony was held at Crown Perth on Friday.
