Apex Geraldton is beefing up its community service hours in the lead-up to the Club’s next changeover dinner, where last year it was revealed members clocked an impressive 454 hours of volunteer work.

In July alone the service group, which is open to members aged between 18 and 45, painted the pallet fence protecting vegetables at the Beachlands Community Gardens and helped a man recovering from a triple bypass move house.

Leadership and committee positions will be vacated at the September 21 changeover dinner, where the club will reflect on the last 12 months of community service.
