From Monday, February 12, Midalia Beach and carpark will be closed for “enhancement works”.

The works are part of the City of Greater Geraldton’s $23.1 Beresford Foreshore Coastal Protection and Enhancement Project, which began in January 2017.

Works along the 1.8km stretch of foreshore will include landscaping, building public facilities, a playground and replacing other amenities lost to coastal erosion.

A fence around the area was erected on Wednesday, February 7.

The beach can be accessed through gates until Monday.
