Geraldton-based business Hopkinson Painting won the top gong at the 24th Mid West Chamber of Commerce and Industry Business Excellence Awards.

The family-run company — which has been “painting Geraldton for 24 years” — was named the 2019 Business of the Year during a gala event at Geraldton Grammar School’s Batavia Hall on Saturday night. Hopkinson Painting also won the Medium-Based Business Award. Sixteen businesses and four individuals were recognised.
