Boy in critical condition in Geraldton after motorbike accident

A boy is in critical condition in Geraldton after he was involved in a motorbike accident this morning.

The 15-year-old is receiving treatment at Geraldton Hospital.

Police said the accident happened off-road at Drummond Cove.

A St John Ambulance spokesman said the boy suffered suspected head and upper arm injuries when he rode a motorbike over a steep dune and fell off.

The boy was taken to hospital by ambulance about midday.
