Brigades young gun Kaeleb Leigh ready to fly after being selected for Australia side in international tour

Geraldton’s Kaeleb Leigh, a rising star in junior Aussie rules, will represent Australia in the under 14s team during an international tour to Fiji in December 2025. The tour, a prestigious opportunity for young athletes, will feature Kaeleb and his team competing against Fiji’s Junior National teams in four Australian rules games, while experiencing diverse playing styles and expert coaching. A member of the Brigades Football Club since his early days in under 10s, the young footballer has consistently demonstrated passion, discipline and a drive for excellence both on and off the field. Earlier this year, he competed in the Junior State AFL tryouts for Western Australia, impressively making it to the top 70 players from a pool of more than 550 hopefuls. The Fiji tour is not only a chance for Kaeleb to showcase his skills on an international stage but an opportunity for personal growth. He will meet fellow players from across Australia, explore different cultures and benefit from the exposure to various Aussie rules techniques and strategies.
