Chapman Valley and Brigades ready for women’s clash

It’s two out of two — both times narrowly — for Chapman Valley this year. But, and it’s a big but, Brigades are the reigning queens of women’s footy in Geraldton. Tomorrow (Saturday), the clubs go at it again in the 2020 grand final at GBSC Sports Park. “We lost to the Valley by a kick both times this season, but the only one that matters is the grand final,” Brigades coach Johel Mitchell said. “Win it and you don’t remember other results. “I’m sure we’re up for the challenge against the top side. It’s been most rewarding being involved in the development of the skills of the girls.” Bouncedown is at 1.30pm, gates open at noon.
