Christmas Messages: Celebrate the spirit of kindness says the Midwest Multicultural Association’s Hari Kumar

Christmas is all around us at this time of the year. The universal message of Christmas is in bringing peace, harmony and unity. Christmas creates an atmosphere of kindness, brotherhood and generosity to energise our community to care for one another, regardless of our religion, ethnicity and cultural background. Christmas is essentially a festival celebrated by most who believe in the life and path of Jesus Christ. During this time Christians spread the message of Jesus as love, joy and hope and it is a time for families and friends to come together and celebrate the festivities. The Midwest Multicultural Association represents people of numerous faiths such as, Hindu, Muslim, Baha’i and many others who don’t follow any faith. Some of these people have different festivals throughout the year to celebrate their culture and religious beliefs. At this time of the year, we join with people of all faiths, wishing the community a safe and happy Christmas with family and friends. Let Jesus and his life be the reason for the season.
