City of Greater Geraldton opens expression of interest for Rocks Laneway Pop-Up Gallery for Mid West artists

The City of Greater Geraldton is giving creatives the opportunity to have their work showcased in public as part of a new pop-up gallery in the CBD. Artists, designers, inventors and crafters are urged to submit expressions of interest to have their work displayed at Rocks Laneway in the new Rocks Laneway Pop-Up Gallery. City of Greater Geraldton Mayor Shane Van Styn said it was a great opportunity for those in the community passionate about art and urged interested parties to submit an EOI. “We are fortunate to have such an abundance of creative individuals in the Mid West,” he said. “By providing this opportunity, we are not only shining a light on local artworks, but also enticing more members of the public into the CBD thus adding vibrancy and increasing opportunity for our established businesses.” The new pop-up gallery is part of the CGG City Centre Revitalisation Plan and the Rocks Laneway Redevelopment. Mid West residents of all ages and experience levels, including community groups, are encouraged to apply through the City’s website.
