City of Greater Geraldton teams up with Storytowns Audio Tours for Christmas Scavenger Hunt

Can you help solve the Christmas calamity and find Santa’s reclusive reindeer? Reindeer hunting is the aim of the game for young amateur sleuths as the City of Greater Geraldton has teamed up with Storytowns Audio Tours to create an immersive, podcast-style Christmas scavenger hunt. City Mayor Jerry Clune said the scavenger hunt was the perfect way to spread Christmas cheer. “It gets the kids out of the house and exploring different places in an exciting new way,” he said. “Plus, it’s free and fun to play, so I encourage families to give it a shot.” Guided by audio clues from none other than Father Christmas himself, people taking part will go on an adventure through local businesses looking for the lost reindeer. Once the animals have been found, participants can complete their digital game card and enter the draw to win some fantastic prizes. The competition is running until New Year’s Eve, and is open to anyone with a smart device. The Christmas Scavenger Hunt complements other festivities taking place in the CBD, such as Christmas on the Terrace, which proved popular once again on Thursday.
